Breeding Services
Breeding services are available at times to approved Golden Retriever females. At this time, Ranger is available. The breeding fee is $600. The mating period takes place at the home of the sire over a period of 7-10 days.

The breeding guidelines here at Reading Retrievers:

  • The dam must be at least two years of age
  • The dam must have an OFA hip clearance of either Excellent or Good
  • The dam must have full AKC registration with breeding rights
  • The dam must be current on all health examinations and vaccinations from a licensed veterinarian
  • The dam must meet the AKC's guidelines for temperament, health, coat and coat color, height, and weight.
  • The dam must not have produced more than two previous litters.
